I finished “Fight Club” not long ago.  Incredibly good book.  So much better than the movie.  Palahniuk uses an affectation in which the narrator says “I am..” and adds something witty and poignant.  I wondered what Google had to say – or rather, we users had to say – about it.  Here’s what popped up:
